Doppler video | |
The Doppler baggie is a very small ziploc bag, with string, a small colored breadboard and more
Tie the string around the battery holder as shown (the knot is on the left).
Remove the protective paper from the back of the breadboard and stick it on the back of the battery holder. Wrap a rubber band a few times also.
In the Elegoo kit, find the beeper. It is in a tiny ziploc bag with black components. It is the one with 2 legs, and likely a white sticker on top. Remove the sticker and you'll see a small hole.
Stick the beeper into the breadboard, here the legs are in row 1 and 4, and put the wires in the same rows, as shown, The red one goes on the row where the + sign is, the black one in the row where the othe leg is. Should beep!
If the beeper moves away from you, you can hear the tone lowering, and
when it moves toward you, you can hear a slightly higher pitch.
You can tape the string to the top of a doorway and swing the beeper, or you can have someone else swing it around, while you listen at a safe distance. If you don't have a helper, stand near a wall outside and swing it around, the sound bouncing off the wall will go up and down in pitch.
