I'm learning Fusion360, so far I have learned to do the 2D stuff, and since this is enough to cut plywood, I forged ahead with the project. I imported the dxf file to Vcarve because for now this was the software that was the default program at the Maker Space to define the toolpaths and to talk to the ShopBot. For the next round, I will define the parts in 3D, so I can let the machine do the various little cutouts for the T-nuts, half-thickness tenons | |
With the ShopBot, I can get fancy and lighten the device by
doing cutouts, and make mortise and tenon connections.
